We are looking for an Accountant to manage financial operations within our fast growing logistics company. The Ideal Candidate will be responsible for the management of the company's financial records, accurate reporting of financial data  including preparing financial statements, other standard accounting procedures.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements.
• Maintain and oversee the company’s financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements and reports: income statements, balance sheets, etc.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting, providing insightful financial analysis/advice.
• Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets.
• Payroll preparation
• Support management with financial insights for decision-making.

• Minimum of HND/Bsc in Accounting
• 2-5 years of experience in a similar role.(Logistics industry is an added advantage)
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.
• Excellent in MS Excel and knowledge of accounting software like, Quick books,SAGE, Zoho.
• In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures.
• Attention to detail.
• Confidentiality and honesty.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
