Job Description

Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled Accountant with 3 - 4 years of experience to join our team on a 3-month contract basis.
The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of setting up effective accounting processes.
Prior experience in supporting startups will be a strong advantage.
Due to the nature of the role, proximity to our office location is a key requirement.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting activities including payables, receivables, and payroll.
Prepare monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and reports.
Ensure accurate bookkeeping and compliance with statutory/tax obligations.
Set up or strengthen accounting systems and controls suitable for a growing business.
Provide financial insights to management for decision-making.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3 - 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
Prior experience working with startups or setting up accounting processes is highly desirable.
Must live within close proximity to the office (Ikeja, Lagos State).
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
