Oversee maintenance and repair activities for Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM) and light vehicles at our CSD Plant. The ideal candidate should have hands-on technical knowledge, experience in troubleshooting, and the ability to lead a small team of mechanics to ensure smooth and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and guide mechanics and technicians for repair and maintenance of HEMM and light vehicles.
Plan and monitor preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules.
Diagnose and resolve issues in hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems of HEMM (e.g., dumpers, excavators, dozers, loaders).
Ensure adherence to safety standards and proper use of tools and equipment.
Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for timely supply.
Support operational efficiency and minimize equipment downtime.

Requirements

Diploma / Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
2–5 years in maintenance of HEMM or automotive equipment, with exposure to team supervision.
Strong troubleshooting and maintenance planning ability.
Good leadership and coordination skills.
Knowledge of engines, hydraulics, transmissions, and electrical systems.
Basic computer proficiency for maintenance reporting.
Strong communication and teamwork.
