Job Description
We're hiring B2B Sales Representatives to build and manage our restaurant and food service accounts. You'll be responsible for acquiring new customers, growing existing accounts, and hitting monthly revenue targets. This is a hunter role; we need someone who can open doors, close deals, and build lasting relationships with decision-makers in the food industry.
What You'll Do
New Business Development (60%)
- Identify and prospect QSRs, restaurants, hotels, caterers, and food manufacturers
- Conduct cold outreach (visits, calls, WhatsApp) to decision-makers
- Present HAV's value proposition: consistent quality, reliable supply, competitive pricing
- Negotiate pricing and terms within approved guidelines
- Convert prospects to paying customers with signed supply agreements
Account Management (30%)
- Manage a portfolio of 15-20 active B2B accounts
- Ensure timely order placement and delivery coordination
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues within 24 hours
- Identify upselling opportunities (volume increases, new product formats)
- Collect payments and maintain accounts receivable within 14-day terms
Reporting & Administration (10%)
- Maintain accurate CRM records of all prospects and customers
- Submit weekly activity reports (visits, calls, conversions, pipeline)
- Provide market intelligence on competitor pricing and activity
- Attend weekly sales meetings and monthly reviews
Requirements
Must Have
- 2-4 years B2B sales experience in FMCG, food service, or hospitality
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets
- Experience selling to restaurants, hotels, or QSRs preferred
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Valid driver's license (motorcycle or car)
- Smartphone with reliable data access
- Fluent in English; Yoruba is a plus
Nice to Have
- Existing relationships with restaurant owners/procurement managers in Lagos
- Experience with Chicken Republic, Kilimanjaro, Mr. Biggs, or similar QSR chains
- Background in cooking oil, food ingredients, or kitchen supplies sales
- Familiarity with CRM tools
