Job Overview
- The Branch Manager (retail) is responsible for overseeing the overall performance and operations of the branch, ensuring profitability, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- This role involves leading and motivating staff, managing resources, driving business growth, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Revenue:
- Develop and implement branch sales and business development strategies.
- Identify new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
Operations Management:
- Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to policies.
- Monitor financial performance, budgets, and cost controls.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of branch performance.
Customer Service:
- Promote a customer-centric culture within the branch.
- Handle escalated customer issues and ensure quick resolution.
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients.
Team Leadership:
- Develop branch staff.
- Set clear performance goals and conduct regular appraisals.
- Foster teamwork, motivation, and continuous learning.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure branch operations comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Monitor risk exposure and implement controls to safeguard assets.
- Ensure timely audits and proper documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Minimum of 6–8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Proven track record in business development, operations management, and people leadership.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze performance data.
