Job Description
Job Purpose
- The Business Development Executive will play a key role in driving growth by identifying and securing opportunities within the oil & gas sector, with a strong focus on pipeline projects and NAPIMS, NUIMS-related deals.
- This role requires a proactive individual who can build strategic relationships, manage client engagements, and contribute to Felton’s long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in pipeline projects and EPCM services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including IOCs, NOCs, EPC contractors, OEMs, and regulatory bodies (NAPIMS, NUIMS experience required).
- Monitor and identify RFPs, RFQs, and tender opportunities; assist in bid preparation and proposal development.
- Support the creation and execution of business development strategies to expand Felton’s market presence.
- Engage in negotiations and assist in structuring deals to secure profitable contracts.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Represent Felton at industry events, exhibitions, and forums to enhance visibility and generate leads.
- Maintain accurate records of opportunities, client interactions, and pipeline reports in CRM systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between business development efforts and project execution.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience & Skills:
- 3–5 years proven experience in Business Development within oil & gas, EPCM, and pipeline sectors.
- Hands-on experience with NAPIMS, NUIMS processes and securing approvals.
- Strong understanding of Nigerian oil & gas regulatory environment and industry dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
