About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and creative Business Development Intern (Corper) to join our client’s team in Abuja.
This role is ideal for a driven individual who is passionate about business growth, client acquisition, and relationship management.
You’ll gain hands-on experience in professional communication, digital outreach, and strategic business development in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support the business development team in identifying, prospecting, and converting leads into clients.
Conduct cold calling, cold emailing, and follow-up communications to generate business opportunities.
Assist with preparing proposals, pitch decks, and presentations.
Engage clients professionally across multiple communication channels (email, phone, LinkedIn, and meetings).
Conduct research to identify potential markets and target audiences.
Collaborate with the marketing team to design business materials and digital content using Canva.
Manage reports, client databases, and schedules using Microsoft Office tools.
Participate in periodic in-person meetings and project assignments at the office.

Requirements

Must be a current NYSC Corp Member serving in Abuja or a young graduate (OND / NCE / BSc) seeking hands-on business experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Working knowledge of Canva or other design platforms.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Confident and comfortable initiating contact via cold calls and emails.
Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
Strong interest in sales, client relations, and business growth.

Benefits

Remuneration: Base Salary: N60,000 - N80,000 Monthly
Performance Bonus: N20,000 – N40,000
