Job Description

Summary

FMR is looking for a meticulous Cashier to join our client's growing team.
The ideal candidate will be a key part of our sales operations, providing excellent customer service and accurately managing all sales transactions.
As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing all financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
You'll be the last point of contact for many customers, so your role is crucial in ensuring a positive and seamless shopping experience.
You will manage daily sales reports, handle cash and electronic payments, and assist with general store tasks to support the team.

Key Responsibilities

Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system.
Handle cash, credit/debit card, and mobile payments.
Provide outstanding customer service, answering questions and resolving issues promptly.
Reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
Assist with inventory counts and restocking shelves as needed.
Communicate customer feedback to management.

Requirements

Minimum OND
Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar customer-facing role, preferably in the retail or clothing industry.
Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
