Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Category Sales Manager to lead and grow our category performance in Lagos and Oyo, respectively.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG sales, with at least 2 years of category management experience. Experience in spice sales will be an added advantage.
This role requires strategic thinking, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to drive sales growth while managing key accounts and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute category sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats within the category.
Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to implement category plans.
Manage key accounts, including negotiations, promotions, and trade marketing activities.
Monitor competitor activities and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for management.
Mentor and coach junior sales team members within the category.

Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of category sales experience in the FMCG sector.
Experience in spice sales is a strong advantage.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
Proficiency in MS Office and sales analytics tools.
Experience in the respective locations.

Salary

N250,000 - N400,000 / Month.
