Philomath University is seeking a highly experienced and proactive
Chief Security Officer (CSO)
to join our team on a full-time basis. As the CSO, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies to protect our students, staff, assets, and reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and oversee campus-wide security policies, protocols, and procedures.
Lead and manage a team of security professionals, ensuring high performance and accountability.
Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate potential threats.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to maintain a secure environment.
Ensure compliance with local and national security regulations.
Manage emergency response planning and crisis management initiatives.

Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience as a CSO or similar senior security role.
Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
In-depth knowledge of modern security technology, risk management, and law enforcement coordination.
A commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and welcoming campus culture.
