Job Description
The Community Sale Agent is responsible for driving sales growth within assigned neighborhoods and local communities. This role focuses on building strong relationships with residents, local businesses, and community organizations, while identifying opportunities to promote and sell the company’s products and services.
The ideal candidate is personable, proactive, and deeply engaged with the community, using outreach activities, local events, and market awareness to meet sales targets. By understanding community needs, the Community Sales Agent tailors solutions that improve customer satisfaction, strengthen brand loyalty, and contribute to overall business expansion.
This position is
- Identify potential customers through community outreach, networking events, social gatherings, referrals, and door-to-door engagement
- Actively follow up on leads to drive conversions
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, households, and community groups
- Leverage trust within communities to support continuous sales growth
- Present products and services confidently
- Explain features clearly, highlight benefits, and guide prospects toward informed purchase decisions
- Convert prospects into paying customers
- Negotiate terms where applicable and consistently achieve assigned revenue and conversion targets
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly
- Maintain ongoing communication and encourage repeat business and referrals
- Monitor local market trends and customer preferences
- Gather competitor insights and submit feedback and reports to management
- Participate in community events, brand activations, and grassroots outreach initiatives
- Increase brand visibility and generate new sales opportunities
- Work closely with the marketing team to execute localized campaigns and promotional activities
- Support community outreach programs and awareness drives
- Understand the unique needs of each community
- Customize sales strategies to improve conversion rates and build strong brand loyalty
- Minimum qualification: OND / HND / B.Sc. (Fresh graduates welcome)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Interest in sales and customer engagement
- Passion for renewable energy and sustainable solutions is an added advantage
- Ability to work independently and meet targets
- Gross Salary:₦150,000 – ₦300,000
