About the job
- The Compensation & Benefits Specialist will manage and continuously improve the organization’s compensation, benefits, and payroll-related processes to support fair, competitive, and compliant reward outcomes. The role requires a highly analytical professional with strong attention to detail and the ability to translate workforce data into actionable insights.
- The role will also support performance management processes to ensure strong alignment between pay, performance outcomes, and organizational objectives.
Primary Responsibilities - Compensation & Benefits
- Design, implement, and continuously improve compensation structures and reward frameworks to attract, retain, and reward high-performing employees.
- Oversee payroll operations ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing of employee salaries, allowances, deductions, and statutory payments.
- Conduct regular salary benchmarking and market surveys to ensure competitiveness and fairness.
- Perform detailed compensation analysis, including pay equity reviews, merit increase modeling, and cost impact analysis.
- Manage bi-annual salary review cycles, bonuses, allowances, and other variable pay programs.
- Administer employee benefits programs (health insurance, leave allowances, pensions, 13th month payments, etc.).
- Ensure compensation and benefits programs comply with labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies.
- Prepare compensation reports, dashboards, and insights for HR leadership and management.
Secondary Responsibilities - Compensation & Benefits
- Support the design and administration of performance management cycles (goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual appraisals).
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Use performance outcomes to support fair and data-driven compensation decisions, including merit increases, bonuses, and rewards.
- Provide analytical support for talent reviews and workforce planning discussions.
Academic Qualification & Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, or a related business discipline.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in Compensation & Benefits, with demonstrable exposure to performance Management.
- Hands-on experience working with HR data and payroll.
