Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our technology team, responsible for managing and optimizing our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, primarily using GitHub and AWS. You will work closely with development and operations teams to ensure seamless and efficient delivery of software products.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines from GitHub to AWS.
Automate and optimize build, test, and deployment processes.
Monitor and maintain infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability and scalability.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to resolve issues and improve system performance.
Ensure security best practices are followed in all deployment and infrastructure management tasks.
Provide a walkthrough of personal projects during the interview process.

Requirements

3 to 4 years of experience in a DevOps role or similar position.
Proven experience with CI/CD tools and processes, particularly with GitHub and AWS.
Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.
Hands-on experience with AWS services, such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in the DevOps field.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
