Diesel Generator Technician/Supervisor (Akwa-Ibom) at Nomshu Consulting

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Diesel Generator Technician/Supervisor to oversee the repair and maintenance of diesel generators in Akwa-Ibom, specifically in Eket and Uyo areas. The ideal candidate should have have a minimum of HND in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or related field with at least 2 years of experience in generator maintenance and supervision. Must be familiar with the terrain and community in Akwa-Ibom, and preferably resident in Eket or Uyo.

• Supervise and coordinate the repair and maintenance of diesel generators in Akwa-Ibom
• Perform routine checks and maintenance on generators to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot and repair faults on generators
• Manage and coordinate with local vendors and technicians for parts and services
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians
• Prepare and submit reports on generator status and maintenance activities

• Minimum HND in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in generator maintenance and supervision
• Conversant with Akwa-Ibom terrain and community
• Resident in Eket or Uyo
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
