Digital Workspace Solution Architect at Descasio - Nigeria

• The Technical Lead, Workspace & Azure is responsible for leading the Workspace & Automation delivery team in architecting, deploying, and managing workspace, automation, and Azure infrastructure solutions for clients and Descasio’s internal systems. This role is responsible for ensuring successful delivery of projects across Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, ZohWorkspace, SharePoint, Power Platform, Plug, and other automation tools. 

 Leadership & Project Delivery

• Lead the Workspace & Automation team in planning, executing, and delivering customer workspace, automation, and Azure infrastructure projects.
• Oversee solution design, configuration, migration, and integration for M365, GWS, ZohWorkspace, SharePoint, and Power Platform.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and tquality standards.
•  Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and workload oversight tteam members.

 Customer Engagement

• Act as technical lead during customer discovery, requirement gathering, and solution design phases.
• Collaborate with account managers and solution architects ttranslate business needs intworkspace, automation, and Azure solutions.
• Manage escalations for deployments, ensuring timely resolution.

Internal Systems Management

• Administer and maintain Descasio’s internal Microsoft Entra ID, including user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access control.
• Manage and monitor internal Azure infrastructure deployments.
• Enforce security policies and compliance requirements in workspace and Azure environments.
• Collaborate with the Security team timplement governance and access best practices.

Process & Continuous Improvement

• Develop and maintain deployment best practices, documentation, and SOPs.
•  Recommend improvements tenhance customer experience, efficiency, and team performance.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging workspace, automation, and identity management technologies.

• Proven experience deploying and managing Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, ZohWorkspace, and SharePoint environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) administration and governance.
• Experience with Azure infrastructure deployment and management.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent project management and client-facing communication skills.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT service delivery, with at least 2 years in a team lead or senior engineer role.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
