  • We are seeking a results-driven eCommerce Officer. In this role, you’ll lead our online retail strategy and enhance our website's visibility.
  • You will oversee and be responsible for the eCommerce operations while implementing effective SEO strategies to drive traffic and increase conversions.
  • You will collaborate with marketing, web development, and content teams to achieve business objectives and ensure a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall eCommerce strategy to improve the online visibility of the brand, achieve sales targets, and enhance customer experience.
  • Possess a strong knowledge of the eCommerce space including competitive strategies, marketing strategies, product development, consumer research, usability best practices, and industry trends.
  • Manage day-to-day eCommerce operations, including product listings, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
  • Monitor and analyze website performance metrics, including traffic, conversions, and revenue, and make data-driven decisions to improve results.
  • Synthesize information to clearly communicate key learnings, actionable strategy, and testing opportunities, and recommend new opportunities to internal stakeholders and partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, logistics, customer service) to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
  • Provide guidance and support to other team members on e-commerce SEO best practices and strategies
  • Optimize website content, product descriptions, and metadata to improve search engine rankings.
  • Implement on-page and off-page SEO best practices to drive organic traffic.
  • Monitor website performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in e-commerce SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in e-commerce management, digital marketing, and SEO (Experience in the retail fashion industry is an added advantage)
  • Proven track record of driving online sales and improving website rankings.
  • Proficiency in eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) and digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush).
  • Familiarity with popular Content Management Systems such as WordPress, Shopify, Magento, HubSpot, etc.
  • Knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Instagram, FaceBook, and LinkedIn advertising platforms
  • Google AdWords and Google Analytics certifications a plus
  • Ability to build reporting based on web behavior and key SEO metrics
  • Able to effectively operate and complete complex tasks with minimal oversight
  • Strong creative aptitude, including a keen eye for design and copywriting
  • Strong visual, and verbal presentation analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
