Responsibilities
- Create an aesthetically supportive learning environment which fosters inquiry, creativity, thinking and independence that ensures learners meet their learning goals.
- Understand the use of phonics to introduce learners to reading.
- Teach the learners the important rules of word problems, problem solving quantitative reasoning skills, and also the use of mental strategy and its diverse methods.
- Identify learners with special requirements, and create individualized plans.
- Assist struggling learners to improve their learning abilities.
- Plan and implement lessonsto stimulate the learners' development.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and administrators to promote the learning and implementation of best practices.
- Monitor and set targets for the social and academic progress of learners.
- Build trusting relationships with learners, parents, and other staff
- Oversee the learners’ progress by tracking their assignment and exam grades, in order to provide useful feedback.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a B.Ed in Early Childhood Education or related course with 2 - 5 years relevant work experience.
- Previous experience as an early years teacher in an International school.
- Deep Understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage framework..
- Possess a patient and resilient personality.
- Strong dedication to students and have a passion for education.
- Excellent written, oral communication and exceptional organizational skill.
- Strong commitment for professional development.
