Job Summary
The Electrical Engineer will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems across multiple projects. This position requires a senior professional capable of handling complex electrical engineering tasks, leading teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to the strategic growth of Bagno Technik’s engineering capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed electrical system designs, layouts, and schematics for industrial, commercial, and technological projects.
- Conduct load calculations, short-circuit studies, and system simulations to optimize performance.
- Ensure all designs and installations comply with local, national, and international electrical codes and standards.
- Lead installation and testing of electrical systems, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project requirements.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, civil, and procurement departments.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans to ensure project milestones are met.
- Prepare and review technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation for management and clients.
- Oversee routine and preventive maintenance of electrical systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults in systems and equipment.
- Recommend improvements to enhance operational performance and energy efficiency.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, technicians, and apprentices, fostering skill development and technical excellence.
- Promote a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
- Ensure strict adherence to all electrical safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures in all electrical works.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and changes in regulations to maintain compliance and innovation.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline;
- Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience in electrical engineering within industrial, commercial, or technological sectors.
- Professional certification (e.g., COREN registration in Nigeria) is highly desirable.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards, codes, and industry best practices.
- Experience in project management and leading engineering teams is an advantage.
