Job Summary

A professional English tutor is needed to teach a 17-year-old Chinese girl who struggles with the English language.
Lessons will be conducted physically (not virtual), so the tutor must be available for in-person sessions.

Responsibilities

Tutoring:

Provide personalized English language instruction tailored to the student’s learning needs and goals.
Focus on reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills, with an emphasis on building vocabulary and grammar.
Utilize engaging and interactive teaching methods to make learning enjoyable and effective.
Assess the student’s progress regularly and adjust lesson plans accordingly.
Provide insights into Western culture and communication styles to help the student adapt and feel more comfortable in English-speaking environments.
Foster a positive and supportive learning environment to boost the student’s confidence in using English.
Encourage the student to set and achieve personal language goals.

Qualifications

Minimum of Master's Degree, majored in Education with 3 years experience.
Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
Previous tutoring or teaching experience, particularly with ESL (English as a Second Language) students, is a plus.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping students succeed.
A young woman betweenthe age bracket 32-25 years oldis preferred.
