Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily farm operations
- Manage crop production and/or livestock activities
- Develop and implement farm production schedules
- Supervise and train farm workers and ensure effective task execution
- Monitor crop health, soil conditions, and livestock welfare
- Oversee the use and maintenance of farm equipment and facilities
- Manage farm inputs such as seeds, fertilizers, feed, and pesticides
- Track farm expenses, production output, and inventory
- Ensure compliance with agricultural and environmental regulations
- Implement modern farming techniques to improve productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Agriculture, Agronomy, Animal Science, or related field
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years experience managing farm operations
- Strong knowledge of crop production and/or livestock management
- Ability to manage farm workers and coordinate farm activities
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of farm equipment and agricultural best practices
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work independently and in rural environments.
