Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of furniture production at various stages of the manufacturing process, including quality checks on raw materials delivered to the factory, in-process components, and finished goods.
Identify machine-related quality output issues and collaborate with the engineering team to rectify them.
Supervise the wrapping and loading process of furniture items to ensure strict adherence to all protective measures, guaranteeing the safe delivery of items to the designated site.
Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols to identify defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from specifications.
Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues promptly and effectively, ensuring corrective actions are taken to prevent recurrence.
Document and maintain detailed records of quality inspections, test results, and corrective actions taken.
Monitor and analyze product defect trends to identify causes and recommend process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Conduct training sessions for production staff on quality control standards, procedures, and best practices.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including production managers to address quality-related concerns and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in quality control and incorporate relevant insights into our processes

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance roles, preferably in the furniture manufacturing industry.
Familiarity with technical drawings and cutting lists would be advantageous.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify causes of quality issues and implement effective corrective actions.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of product quality and consistency.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in using software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development in quality management.
