Job Description
TASKS DESCRIPTION:
Security & Control
- Conduct regular patrols around the MdM premises to prevent external intrusion.
- Immediately alert those at risk in the event of an intrusion and promptly contact your supervisor using any available means of communication.
- Manage gate operations by opening and closing for the entry and exit of individuals and vehicles.
- Monitor visitor access to the secure area in accordance with MdM rules (obtain permission from the designated MdM authority and record details in the entry/exit logbook).
- Ensure that no one enters the premises without authorization and that MdM security rules are strictly observed (e.g., no weapons, proper registration).
- Verify that all access doors are locked during non-working hours.
- Prevent the removal of MdM property from the compound without prior approval from the logistics officer.
- Report all incidents and promptly communicate any information that may affect the safety of the mission.
- At the end of each shift, conduct a physical inspection of the premises and record observations in the duty logbook. Do not leave the premises until properly relieved by the incoming guard.
- Never leave the workplace or premises unattended under any circumstances. Always remain on duty until the next shift guard arrives.
- Conduct routine checks of all safety and security equipment (e.g., locked doors, lighting, fire extinguishers, radios, flashlights, generators, fuel reserves, water supply). Immediately notify the line supervisor of any issues or irregularities.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma
- At least 4 years’ experience in the same position
