Skynet Worldwide Express is seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Business / Business Development Manager to lead and expand its Courier and Express Delivery Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic business opportunities, and leading a high-performing sales and operations team.
The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership capabilities, a deep understanding of the courier and express delivery industry, and a proven track record of achieving and exceeding business targets. This role requires a proactive and upwardly mobile professional who is a go-getter, capable of building and motivating a team to deliver aggressive and measurable results.
- Business Growth & Strategy
- Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the courier and express delivery business.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, partnerships, and high-value clients.
- Expand market share and strengthen the company’s presence within target markets.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Revenue Generation
- Drive aggressive sales targets and ensure consistent achievement of revenue goals.
- Develop pricing strategies and service offerings to remain competitive in the market.
- Lead major contract negotiations with corporate clients and strategic partners.
- Leadership & Team Development
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales and business development team.
- Set clear performance targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team.
- Foster a results-driven culture focused on accountability, growth, and excellence.
- Coach team members to enhance their sales, negotiation, and client management skills.
- Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key corporate customers.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service delivery.
- Address client concerns and ensure prompt resolution of operational issues.
- Operational Collaboration
- Work closely with operations, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure seamless delivery service.
- Align business development strategies with operational capabilities and service quality standards.
- Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Prepare and present regular business performance reports to senior management.
- Track sales pipeline, conversion rates, and revenue performance metrics.
- Implement corrective strategies where necessary to achieve targets.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the courier and express delivery industry.
- Proven experience in business development, sales leadership, or commercial management within the logistics or courier sector.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed aggressive revenue targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and drive performance.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Marketing, or related field (MBA is an advantage).
