Job Description
Role Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Head of Engineering to lead our renewable energy projects from design to delivery. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with proven leadership, ensuring top-quality execution, innovation, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead solar PV design, modeling, and installation from concept to completion.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff.
- Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with business development teams on project proposals.
- Oversee resource planning, site supervision, and performance optimization.
- Drive innovation through R&D and new energy solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field (Master’s or PMP/NABCEP preferred).
- 8–10 years of renewable energy experience, including 5+ years in leadership.
- Proven experience in solar PV design and EPC project delivery.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, or HOMER.
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Nigeria’s renewable energy regulations and market trends.
