Job Description

Job Summary

As the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, management, and running of all financial activities of the company.
This includes business planning, budgeting, forecasting, governance, risk management, and negotiations.
You will also oversee investor relations and partnership compliance, while providing leadership and commercial insight to support the company’s long-term growth.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership, direction, and management of the finance and accounting team
Develop strategic recommendations to the CEO/Executive Management Team
Manage financial forecasting, budgeting, and oversee preparation of all financial reporting
Advise on long-term financial and business planning initiatives
Provide commercial insight and leadership to exceed business plan targets
Ensure risk and compliance management frameworks are embedded and operational
Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior management, investors, and external stakeholders
Review and oversee all finance, HR, and IT-related formal procedures

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline
Chartered Accountant (ICAN, CPA) required; MBA is highly desirable
Minimum of 10 years’ progressive finance experience, with proven leadership and management exposure
Strong entrepreneurial, strategic planning, and financial management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with executive presence
Ability to work effectively with senior management, investors, and external stakeholders.

Salary

NGN 900,000 – 1.000,000 Monthly gross.
