Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Employee Welfare & Benefits

  • Implement benefits programs such as meals, housing, medical, insurance, and transport.
  • Maintain records and track benefit distribution.

Employee Relations & Culture

  • Document grievances and escalate major issues to senior HR leadership.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, events, and recognition programs.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive workplace culture.

Training & Development

  • Coordinate training logistics and attendance.
  • Support the Head of People Development in delivering training calendars and programs.
  • Prepare reports on training completion and staff development.

Performance Management

  • Collect KPI data and consolidate into performance dashboards.
  • Share performance reports with leadership for review.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of appraisals and promotions.

Disciplinary & Compliance

  • Maintain disciplinary records and issue formal letters (warnings, suspensions, etc.).
  • Track compliance with labor laws and organizational policies.
  • Ensure due process in disciplinary matters.

Talent Pipeline & Succession

  • Maintain updated skills and employee capability databases.
  • Provide documentation support for promotions and career development.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process (job postings, screening, interviews, contracts).
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding and orientation for new hires.

Compliance & Records Management

  • Maintain employee contracts, visas, work permits, and HR records.
  • Manage payroll data and ensure compliance with labor law requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7-10 years of HR experience, preferably in hospitality or a multi-site organization.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor law and compliance frameworks.
  • Proven ability to manage recruitment, employee relations, and HR records.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • HR certifications (CIPM, SHRM, or equivalent) are an advantage.
