Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Staffing
- Oversee the full recruitment cycle from job posting to onboarding.
- Develop and maintain job descriptions and specifications for all roles.
- Ensure fair and transparent selection processes.
Performance Management
- Implement performance appraisal systems aligned with company objectives.
- Support line managers in setting performance goals and KPIs.
- Monitor employee productivity and provide feedback and coaching where necessary.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee grievances and disciplinary issues.
- Promote a healthy, safe, and productive work environment.
- Organize team-building and staff engagement activities.
Training & Development
- Identify staff training needs and create annual training plans.
- Coordinate internal and external training sessions.
- Maintain training records and evaluate effectiveness.
Compensation & Benefita
- Administer payroll, leave, and benefits in compliance with company policies.
- Review and recommend compensation structures that ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
HR Policy & Compliance
- Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and employee handbooks.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and relevant statutory bodies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
Strategic HR Planning
- Advise management on HR trends, succession planning, and workforce development.
- Support organizational restructuring and change management initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM) is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years progressive experience in human resources management.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office tools.
