We are seeking an experienced

to provide independent assurance on the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes. You will play a critical role in safeguarding assets, enhancing compliance, and ensuring operational efficiency across our institution.

• Conduct periodic
  audits of operational, financial, and compliance activities
• Evaluate and strengthen
  internal controls, risk management and governance
  frameworks
• Ensure strict adherence to
  CBN regulations, policies, and statutory requirements
• Review
  loan documentation & lending processes
  for compliance and accuracy
• Prepare and present
  comprehensive audit reports
  with actionable insights
• Follow up on
  implementation of audit recommendations
• Support
  fraud detection and investigations
  when necessary

• 4–6 years’ experience
  in internal auditing (preferably in a
  Microfinance Bank
  or regulated financial institution)
• Strong knowledge of
  CBN regulatory framework, risk controls, and public sector lending
• Proven expertise in
  audit methodology, reporting, and root cause analysis
• Excellent
  analytical, investigative, and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a
  ccounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Professional certifications such as
  ACA, ACCA, CIA
  (strongly preferred)
