Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct internal audits across departments and business units.
- Review financial, operational, and compliance processes to identify gaps and risks.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide recommendations to improve efficiency, safeguard assets, and ensure financial accuracy.
- Prepare clear audit reports and present findings to management.
- Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and follow-up audits.
Qualifications & Requirements
- B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIA (an added advantage).
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience as an Internal Auditor or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and internal control systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
- High level of integrity, objectivity, and attention to detail.
