Job Description

Job Summary

  • Our client is a major player in the interiors and furniture sector of the Nigerian economy with a first class reputation for top of the range products.

Responsibilities 

  • Track daily, weekly and monthly inventory.  
  • Generate and analyse inventory reports to make sure there are no discrepancies.
  • Financial reporting cash books, sales journals/registers, bank reconciliation. 
  • Ensure accuracy of inventory reports, lead physical inventory counts and diagnose the cause of inventory variance. 
  • Assist with internal audits.

Requirements

  • Degree-qualified
  • A minimum of 2 years’ post qualification requisite experience.
  • Knowledge of sage software; basic or intermediate. 
  • Knowledge of manual accounting entries, journals, asset registers, account receivables and account payables.
  • Proficiency in Excel Intermediate or advanced.
  • You should be good with numbers calculating large figures (manually and on excel) with zero to minimal errors.
  • Inventory management
  • Experience in routine physical stock taking, accurate inventory reporting, goods transfer record, goods received records, inventory addition and deductions, waybilling.
