Job Description

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Officer to manage daily inventory activities, maintain optimal stock levels, and ensure supplies are always available. The successful candidate will work closely with the procurement team to prepare purchase orders, receive and dispatch goods, manage stock levels, and maintain accurate inventory records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, including receipt, storage, and issuance of goods
  • Conduct regular stock takes and reconcile inventory discrepancies
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory control processes and procedures
  • Track stock levels, monitor inventory movements, and identify slow-moving or obsolete stock
  • Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and finance teams to ensure seamless inventory management
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize inventory management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in inventory management or a related field
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
