- We are currently seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Inventory Officer at our facility in Awka, Anambra State.
- The Inventory Officer will be responsible for overseeing and managing inventory levels to ensure accuracy and efficiency in our operations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including stock counts, movements, and adjustments.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for timely inventory receipt and storage.
- Handle inventory issuance and returns, resolving any discrepancies.
- Generate reports on inventory status, stock movements, and variances for management review.
- Implement and uphold inventory control procedures to minimize losses.
- Generate reports on inventory status and collaborate with departments for future stock needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum of an OND certification in any related field
- 1 year of inventory management experience.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports to support decision-making.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and learn new systems or processes.
