IT Hardware Engineer at First Cardiology Consultants

We are seeking a competent and proactive IT Hardware Engineer to manage, maintain, and support the hospital’s IT hardware infrastructure. The successful candidate will ensure reliable operation of computer systems, networks, and connected medical IT equipment to support clinical and administrative services.

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, servers, printers, UPS systems, and other IT hardware.
• Provide technical support to clinical and non-clinical staff.
• Monitor and maintain network hardware including switches, routers, Wi-Fi access points, and cabling.
• Support IT interfaces for medical equipment and hospital systems.
• Ensure system uptime, data security, and compliance with hospital IT policies.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and documentation.
• Procurement of laptops, and other Gadget as required in the hospital.
• Liaise with vendors for hardware repairs, upgrades, and procurement.

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2-6 years’ relevant IT hardware or technical support experience.
• Experience in a healthcare environment is an added advantage.

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals.
• Basic networking and server support skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues promptly.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality.

• CompTIA A+
• CompTIA Network+
• Microsoft or equivalent IT certifications
