Job Description
Position Overview
- We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee the school’s entire IT infrastructure — including networks, hardware, software systems, digital learning platforms, and data security.
- The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership skills to manage IT operations, support digital transformation, and ensure reliability across all campuses.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all IT systems, devices, and network operations across campuses.
- Maintain school management systems, student portals, and digital learning platforms.
- Oversee data security, backups, and disaster recovery plans.
- Provide IT support to academic and administrative staff.
- Manage IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
- Ensure consistent internet and intranet connectivity across campuses.
- Supervise and train IT officers or assistants.
- Support integration with MyStar and other digital school tools.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify and implement technology needs.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing IT systems, preferably in an educational or multi-site organization.
- Strong knowledge of networking, system administration, and cloud technologies.
- Experience with school management systems (SMS) or EdTech platforms is highly desirable.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership and communication skills for team and staff coordination.
- High sense of integrity, accountability, and confidentiality.
