Job Description
- Building a sales pipeline to ensure a constant stream of sales.
- Meeting monthly, quarterly and annual sales and revenue targets as set by line manager.
- Chasing leads and following up on opportunities to generate sales.
- Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
- Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner.
- Researching the target market and finding companies to target.
- Attending meetings with potential customers and closing sales.
- Cold calling customers and selling services and products.
- Entering all required data for sales onto the company system.
- Liaising with other departments within the company.
- Providing timely weekly, monthly and quarterly achievement reports to line manager on progress towards sales KPI’s
- Arranging to attend industry conferences and events.
- Networking with companies in the industry. Participate in seminars, trade shows.
- Involve actively in training programs as well as pass certification exams.
- Be a team player communicating with colleagues and other department members.
- Any other duty assigned by line Manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 2-3 years progressive career in sales of IT solutions and services.
- Verifiable track record of consistent achievements of high volume sales in competitive environments.
- Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role.
- Great team player
- Must be goal-driven and result-oriented with knack for meeting set goals
- Proficiency in Microsoft office.
- Ability to build rapport.
- Proficiency in English
- Communication and negotiation skills.
- ICT Market Knowledge
- Bsc/BA/HND in Any discipline
