Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable
IT Support / Technician
to provide day-to-day technical support for VMAX Tea & Coffee outlets and corporate offices. This role ensures smooth operation of POS systems, network connections, and hardware/software used in stores and headquarters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for POS systems, office computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of new hardware and software.
- Monitor IT systems for performance issues and report recurring problems to IT Supervisor.
- Maintain IT inventory, track repairs, and manage replacement of faulty equipment.
- Support store staff in using POS systems and other digital tools effectively.
- Document IT issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures for reference.
- Coordinate with external IT vendors when specialized services are required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in IT support or technical assistance, preferably in restaurant, café, or retail chains.
- Knowledge of POS systems, networking, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple requests and work under pressure.
