Job Summary
- The ideal candidate will manage all accounting operations, ensure financial accuracy
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and bank statements.
- Oversee daily financial transactions, including billing, invoicing, and expense tracking.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Monitor cash flow and advise management on cost control and financial efficiency.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of all accounting records.
- Collaborate with management to ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the hospitality or service industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Tally, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- ICAN or ACCA certification (in view or completed) is an added advantage.
