Job Description
We are seeking a
Junior Business Development Officer
to support sales growth, partner engagement, and market expansion activities. This role is ideal for an early-career professional
interested in business development, sales, and climate-impact projects.
The successful candidate will receive hands-on training in market development, partnership management, and clean cooking project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Support identification and development of new business opportunities, partnerships, and sales channels
- Assist in engaging distributors, resellers, NGOs, and community partners
- Support field market activation and customer outreach activities
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and basic sales materials
- Support government, donor, and development-partner engagements
- Maintain records of leads, partners, and sales activities
- Support basic market research and competitor tracking
- Assist with follow-up on meetings, leads, and partnership discussions
- Work closely with operations and production teams to support order fulfilment
Requirements
- BSc or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline
- At least 2 years work experience
- Strong interest in sales, partnerships, and business development
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and work in a target-driven environment
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
