Lead Strategist at Western Buckland Limited

• We are seeking a highly experienced consultant to join our team as a Lead Strategist within the financial services sector.
• This role is pivotal in shaping the organisation’s future direction through strategy design, transformation execution, and organisational restructuring.
• The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of industry experience, including significant time in Strategy consulting, with experience at top-tier consulting firms.
• With deep expertise in strategy consulting, transformation,and organisational design.
• This individual will drive strategic initiatives, execute transformative projects, and develop innovative solutions that enhance business performance and create long-term value.

• Develop and implement a three-year strategy and transformation roadmap, aligned with global best practices.
• Conduct diagnostic reviews (internal and external scans) to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities.
• Lead organisational design projects, including job analysis, evaluation, and grading exercises.
• Provide strategic recommendations and support executives in executing transformation initiatives.
• Drive succession and transition planning, including recruitment of successors for leadership roles.

• An advanced degree (MBA, MPA, or equivalent) from a top-tier institution is preferred. Professional certifications in strategy consulting, change management, or related fields are advantageous.
• Minimum of
   
  15 years of experience in Strategy consulting, including at least 5 years in a top-tier consulting firm.
• Proven expertise in strategy transformation and organisational design.
• Broad understanding of industry sectors relevant to the firm’s portfolio, with an ability to quickly grasp the unique dynamics and opportunities within client environments.
• Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into execution with measurable results.
