Legal Adviser at a Microfinance Bank

We are seeking a proactive and business-oriented Legal Adviser to support our legal, governance, and compliance functions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance, managing legal risks, and providing strategic legal advice to support our growing operations.

• Provide legal advisory services to support the operations of the Institution.
• Oversee corporate governance matters and ensure best practices.
• Identify and manage legal and regulatory risks.
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Conduct legal and regulatory research to inform decision-making.

• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) and BL from the Nigerian Law School.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable with digital tools.
• Strong legal research skills with an innovative and solutions-driven mindset.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to align legal strategy with business goals.
