Job Description
The Role
We are looking for a highly capable, data-driven, and culturally attuned Marketing & Growth Manager to scale our platform to millions of Nigerians. You won't just be running native ads; you will be responsible for user acquisition, virality, community building, and establishing trust across diverse demographics in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities
- User Acquisition & Growth:Design and execute scalable strategies to acquire users across Nigeria, utilizing organic (social, SEO, content) and paid channels.
- Virality & Network Effects:Develop campaigns and features that incentivize users to organically share the platform within their communities and networks.
- Brand & Trust Building:Establish WhistleBlowNG as a safe, credible, and essential tool for Nigerians. Manage public relations, partnerships with CSOs (Civil Society Organizations), and key influencers.
- Data Analytics:Set up tracking, analyze user behavior, and continuously optimize campaigns for lower CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost) and higher activation rates.
- Community Engagement:Foster an active online community and address user concerns regarding safety, anonymity, and impact.
Requirements
- Proven track record in growth marketing, user acquisition, or product marketing, specifically scaling consumer products within the Nigerian market.
- Deep understanding of Nigerian internet culture, social media platforms (Twitter, WhatsApp micro-communities, Facebook), and local languages/nuances.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in growth hacking and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A passion for social impact, civic tech, and creating a better Nigeria.
