Job Description
Responsibilities
- Oversee procurement, receipt, storage, and issuance of spare parts, lubricants, tyres, tools, and other maintenance consumables.
- Develop and maintain a reliable spare parts supply chain to ensure minimal downtime of vehicles.
- Ensure proper documentation and traceability of materials through the ERP system.
- Implement standards for quality assurance of materials received from suppliers.
- Develop and implement effective inventory management systems to avoid stock-outs or excess inventory.
- Monitor inventory levels regularly and prepare reports.
- Conduct periodic stock counts, reconciliation, and variance investigations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business Administration, or Engineering.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of procurement experience, preferably in logistics, transportation, or supply chain sector.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Knowledge of logistics operations and fleet maintenance supplies.
- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of procurement compliance and regulatory requirements.
