Job Description / Responsibilities

Clean, maintain, and ensure proper functioning of laboratory equipment.
Collect and analyze body fluids (e.g., blood, urine, spinal fluid).
Provide technical information and interpretation of test results to physicians, scientists, and researchers.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments used in both qualitative and quantitative analyses.
Ensure a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors by adhering to established standards, procedures, and legal regulations.
Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in handling laboratory information.
Support hospital operations by complying with professional standards, hospital policies, and relevant regulatory requirements.

Qualifications / Experience

Certified Medical Laboratory Technician from a recognized School of Health Technology, with at least 2 years of hospital-based work experience.
Strong knowledge and application of Laboratory Quality Management Systems.
Competence in laboratory data management and basic research literacy.
Proficiency in performing common medical laboratory tests.
Must possess a valid Practice License from the relevant regulatory body.
Computer literacy is required.
Strong multitasking ability with the capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
