- Understanding and executing traditional and new drink recipes
- Creating innovative cocktails with an understanding of flavor profiles and presentation
- Mixing, garnishing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes or personal judgment
- Providing excellent customer service, taking orders and serving customers
- Restocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies
- Staying updated on current beverage trends and making appropriate recommendations to guests
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area adhering to all safety and health regulations
- Checking customers’ identification to ensure they meet legal drinking age
- Handling cash transactions, processing customer payments, and returning the correct change
