- We are seeking an experienced Offshore Baker who can double up as a cook to join our team in Port Harcourt.
- As an offshore baker/breakfast cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals and baked goods for our staff working on offshore rigs.
- You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all food is prepared to high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes
- Cook breakfast meals for our client.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
- Work effectively in a team environment to ensure that all meals are prepared and served on time
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to plan and prepare meals
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess an FSLC
- Valid offshore documents (e.g. BOSIET, OSP, etc.)
- 2+ years of experience as a baker and breakfast cook in an industrial kitchen
- Excellent baking and cooking skills, with attention to detail and presentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility and adaptability
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
