Contract (with the possibility of conversion to full-time after performance evaluation)

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our team of drivers and trucks, coordinate routes and schedules, and ensure efficient and safe deliveries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and transportation, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to implement process improvements.

• Manage and supervise a team of commercial drivers and trucks
• Coordinate and plan routes, schedules, and deliveries
• Ability to manage employees in union.
• Source and recruit quality drivers
• Manage driver relations and ensure fair compensation (fixed pay)
• Experience in managing employees in a unionized environment
• Implement and enforce safety and security protocols
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 3-5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in logistics or transportation
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards
• Experience with fleet management software and technologies
• Knowledge of Sino Trucks (Howo) & TaTa
