About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and customer-focused

Patient Services Associate
to join our team at LECC. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing excellent front-line support to patients and visitors, ensuring a smooth and positive experience throughout their care journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients, visitors, and families in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Register patients on EMR, verify  details, and update demographic and medical information accurately.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, consultations, and follow-up visits.
  • Coordinate patient flow between departments to minimize waiting times.
  • Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and empathetically.
  • Process billing information, collect co-payments, and ensure confidentiality of patient records.
  • Collaborate with clinical and Operations staff to support efficient hospital operations.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, data protection laws, and patient privacy regulations.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a diploma or degree in healthcare administration or related field is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a hospital, clinic, or customer service environment preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a caring and professional demeanor.
  • Proficient in using hospital management systems (EMR)  and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology will be an added advantage.
