Job Description
We are seeking a People & Administrative Lead who is passionate about building an inclusive, values-driven, and high-performing workplace. In this role, you will shape culture, lead key HR initiatives, and manage the entire employee journey — from recruitment to growth and engagement — while working closely with the executive team and reporting directly to the CEO.

Team Leadership & Strategy:
- Structure and lead the People & Culture department into a high-functioning unit
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and people operations processes
- Support change management, staff engagement, and cultural transformation
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices
Talent Management:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and seamless exit processes
- Drive performance management processes and appraisal systems
- Collaborate on resolving performance issues and implementing PIPs
Learning & Development:
- Identify training needs and design company-wide L&D programs
- Partner with internal/external providers to deliver impactful training
Compensation & Benefits:
- Manage salary reviews, performance rewards, and employee incentives
- Develop competitive compensation structures and staffing budgets
Employee Engagement & Relations:
- Design engagement surveys and culture-building initiatives
- Provide expert guidance on grievances, misconduct, and employee welfare
- Champion initiatives that support employee well-being and retention
HR Operations & Admin:
- Manage HRIS and internal communications
- Oversee administration across multiple office locations
- Prepare periodic HR reports for executive leadership.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage.
- Relevant HR certifications, such as CIPM, are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 6–8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 4 years in a leadership role. Experience working in mission-driven, non-profit, or NGO environments is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated success in managing the full HR lifecycle and leading people-related strategy and operations.
- Proven ability to lead culture transformation and change management initiatives.
- Deep understanding of Nigerian Labour Laws and HR best practices.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with performance management systems, PIPs, and talent development.
- Proficiency with HRIS and digital tools for communication and data analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and team-building skills.
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity.
- Agile, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
