Job Description
Role Summary
- The People & Culture Intern should provide administrative and operational support to the People & Culture department during a maternity leave period.
- The role offers hands-on exposure to core HR functions including recruitment support, employee documentation, data management, and employee engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the People & Culture team.
- Assist with recruitment processes (job postings, CV screening, interview scheduling).
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
- Support onboarding and documentation processes for new hires.
- Assist in coordinating training and development activities.
- Prepare HR letters (confirmation, queries, probation updates, etc.).
- Support payroll documentation collation where required.
- Assist with employee engagement activities and welfare initiatives.
- Ensure proper filing (physical and electronic) of HR documents.
- Carry out any other HR-related tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (or final year student) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fields
- 0 - 1 year experience (NYSC member or recent graduate preferred).
- Basic understanding of HR processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.
