Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Transportation: Safely and efficiently transport clients, staff, or goods to and from designated locations.
Navigation: Plan and follow the most efficient routes to destinations, using GPS and maps as needed.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs immediately to management.
Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. Ensure the vehicle is always clean and well-maintained.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, fuel consumption, and expenses.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to passengers, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant experience.
Flexibility: Be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the schedule.

Requirements:

Driver's License: A valid and current driver's license
Clean Driving Record: A spotless driving record with no history of major traffic violations or accidents.
Experience: Proven experience as a driver. Experience with a commercial van, is required.
Knowledge of Routes: Strong knowledge of Lagos roads, city navigation, and traffic patterns.
Mental and Physical Fitness
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
Dependability: A reliable and punctual individual who can be trusted to maintain a schedule.
Problem-Solving: Ability to handle unexpected situations, such as traffic delays or vehicle issues, calmly and effectively.
